Emergency Medical Services Professions

ALL EMSP COURSES REQUIRE DEPARTMENTAL APPROVAL PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. 

Prospective EMT student must provide documentation of certain vaccinations, American Heart Association BLS certification and a mandatory online Information Session in order to gain access to the application for that program. 

Prospective Advanced EMT  through Paramedic students must also provide documentation of certain vaccinations, American Heart Association BLS certification, proof of EMT Certification or proof of enrollment in an EMT course and a mandatory online Information Session in order to gain access to the application for that program.

MATH 1314 College Algebra

Students who intend to move on to MATH 2412 Precalculus should enroll in MATH 1414 College Algebra for Precalculus.  MATH 1314 will not meet the prerequisites for MATH 2412.  Many programs may allow students to use MATH 1332 Contemporary Mathematics or MATH 1342 Elementary Statistics to fulfill their math requirements rather than MATH 1314.  Check the requirements of your program at ACC and at the institution to which you wish to transfer.
