FIRT 2305 Fire Instructor I

This class will be conducted in an online/hybrid format. Students will need to log into Blackboard for course content, course dates, and course information. There will be two face to face meeting times. The dates and times are May 28 or 29 and June 11 or 12 from 0900 to 1300. The location is 4800 Shaw Ln, Austin, TX Bldg G. This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Fire Instructor I certification. TCFP skills testing will be conducted on Jun 26 or 27 at a time and location set by the instructor. Students (seeking TCFP Fire Instructor I certification) will be required to meet face-to-face to complete the TCFP skills. Additionally, as mandated by TCFP requirements, students will need to take an end of course proctored exam. This will be conducted at the time of skill testing unless otherwise notified by the instructor.
