Tests will be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer for free. Online courses eliminate geography as a factor.

A foundation studio course exploring the fundamental terminology, concepts, theory, and application of two-dimensional design. Required for the Studio Art degree and prerequisite for other studio courses.

This is a fully online synchronous class. Students are required to log into online class sessions on scheduled days, and are required to be on camera to actively participate in class meetings. Reliable internet access is required. Students will need access to a good quality camera or camera phone for documentation of assigned projects. A working webcam, computer, and microphone are also required. Instruction and learning are delivered through ZOOM sessions, Blackboard, video, PowerPoint, and eTextbook. Mandatory Orientation is required in Blackboard. This is a First Day Access course, a program of Austin Community College. First Day Inclusive Access provides access to the course materials and eBook. The cost of required digital course materials is added to students’ tuition and fees when they register. First Day materials are accessed through the Blackboard course site. Students can access the course materials anywhere with online access and on various devices. Opting out of First Day Access. If students wish to purchase the course materials separately, they must opt out prior to the official reporting date for a full refund. Students must still purchase Connect® Access course materials to complete the learning activities of the course.
