The purpose of this course is to provide a broad understanding of the contemporary business environment.  Topics to be covered include Management, Entrepreneurship, Small Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management, Risk Management, Business Law and other topics.  This is an online asynchronous class and does not have a specific time to meet during the semester.  Recorded videos for each chapter will be available to view.  All course information can be found on Blackboard by the first day of class and all exams will be taken online using Blackboard's Respondus Lockdown Browser (no webcam needed though).  A mandatory online orientation quiz must be taken during the first week of class.  For additional course information, contact the instructor at dandew@austincc.edu.
