This class is entirely online and does not have any required in-person or online meetings. Restricted to ECHS students currently attending Akins ECHS. All work will be submitted through Blackboard available at http://acconline.austincc.edu/. High speed internet is recommended for viewing videos. This is a Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) section. The textbook is an Open Educational Resource (OER) and is available online to students free of charge. Textbook can be accessed here: Introduction to Sociology 3e. Students may print or order copies of the book for a fee. The professor will make the course and syllabus available on Blackboard a couple of days before the course begins and students should plan to log in to Blackboard the first day of class to receive instructions from the professor.
