This course requires 16 hours of fieldwork, which must be completed in-person in a licensed/registered early childhood classroom with children aged 0-5. Students must also complete and pass a Child Care Regulation Centralized Background Check through Texas Health and Human Services, which will be conducted in class at the start of the semester. Failure to complete and pass the mandated background check may result in withdrawal from the course.
