EDUC 1100 Learning Framework: Effective Strategies for College Success

This is a ZTC-class (Zero Textbook Cost section). In place of required textbooks, all textbook materials needed for the class will be available digitally to students free of charge. Students may print copies of the resources (if applicable) but will be responsible for printing costs. Course materials are Open Educational Resources (OER); see syllabus or contact the instructor for more details.

Course instruction is online and asynchronous. Tests may also be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer for free. Student ACC email and reliable internet are required.

MANDATORY course orientation will take place on Blackboard during the first week of class. Students who do not complete the mandatory online orientation by the date indicated on the syllabus are subject to being withdrawn from the course.





Synchronous Online Sections

DLS (Synchronous Virtual Class Meetings Required). Course instruction is online. Course instruction includes required real-time virtual class meetings at the days and times listed. Tests will be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer for free. Online courses eliminate geography as a factor.

Mathematics

16 Week Session: August 26 - December 15

MATH 1351 Mathematics for Middle Grade Teacher Certification II

Students need to complete MATH 1350 with a grade of C or better prior to MATH 1351.  Students may not take these courses concurrently.  Prerequisites: MATH 1350 with a C or higher.  The prerequisites for all mathematics courses are STRICTLY enforced and will be verified by instructors.  Students without the prerequisites are subject to withdrawal.
