Synchronous Online Sections

DLS (Synchronous Virtual Class Meetings Required). Course instruction is online. Course instruction includes required real-time virtual class meetings at the days and times listed. Tests will be taken online. Some tests may require proctoring. Students can access online proctoring on their own computer for free. Online courses eliminate geography as a factor.

Mathematics - Developmental

Math Launch is a short course offered through ACC's Continuing Education department, staffed by ACC math instructors.  Math Launch is a low cost opportunity for students to review and refresh previously learned math topics, and to reassess with the chance of improving their initial developmental math placement. MATD 0370 Elementary Algebra

Elementary Algebra and Foundations. Students will enroll in combined sections of NCBM 0270 Algebra Foundations and MATD 0370 Elementary Algebra attending class 6 hours a week.  During this course, students will cover foundational algebra skills and secondary school algebra objectives in one semester. This course has RESTRICTED ENROLLMENT. This corequisite course prepares students for the following corequisite courses NCBM 0214 / MATH 1314, NCBM 0224 / MATH 1324, and NCBM 0244 / MATH 1414. NCBM 0270 Algebra Foundations

Course for students with TSI scores of 910-935 and diagnostic score 3 or 4.  Students with diagnostic scores of 1 or 2 need to enroll in ACC’s College Prep Program (https://www.austincc.edu/academic-and-career-programs/adult-education/college-prep-program).  This course supports students who are taking Elementary Algebra (MATD 0370).  Students will be co-enrolled in MATD 0370.  This course has RESTRICTED ENROLLMENT.
