GRPH 1359 Vector Graphics for Production

A study and use of vector graphics for production. Skill development in the use of the tools and transformation options of Adobe® Illustrator® to create complex vector illustrations for print and web-based media. Mastery in manipulation of both text and graphics with emphasis on the use of the pen tool as well as the correct use and management of different color modes. 
Required Equipment Hardware: - a PC or a Mac that meets the minimum technical specifications to run Illustrator CC 2024  (view this link) - a webcam - a microphone - high-speed internet connection 
Software: Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe Illustrator CC 2024 and Adobe Acrobat DC. Note: *This course qualifies for discounted Adobe Creative Cloud access. After registering for this course, please use this link for more information and to purchase your license.
Required knowledge: Students should have working knowledge of their computer and its operating system, including how to efficiently use the mouse, standard menus, and keyboard commands, as well as how to use the file system to create and edit files and folders. If you need additional guidance or practice using desktop computers, ACC offers a free five-week course called Intro to Computers and Internet Search, which is a great option for gaining more experience.
