This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Fire Instructor I certification. TCFP skills testing will be conducted on Jun 26 or 27 at a time and location set by the instructor. Students (seeking TCFP Fire Instructor I certification) will be required to meet face-to-face to complete the TCFP skills. Additionally, as mandated by TCFP requirements, students will need to take an end of course proctored exam. Geographic Information Systems

A FREE student version of ArcGIS Pro will be provided to all classroom and online students. 

Online Course Software and Hardware Requirements: Students must have a computer with a Windows operating system that is capable of running the desktop version of ArcGIS Pro (system requirements). A webcam and a microphone are required for online exam proctoring, meetings, and tutoring sessions. 

NOTE:
ArcGIS Pro only runs on the Windows operating system. It will not run on a Chromebook. Mac users will need to install either Apple Boot Camp or Parallels. Support for this setup will not be provided by GIS faculty.
