This synchronous distance education section offers the best of both worlds by combining best practices from both Classroom based and Distance Education courses.  The course will be led by a faculty member who will be providing live lecture content and class activities but students will also have the benefit of not leaving home in order to travel to class.  Students should consider this as a classroom based course and are expected to log in and be on camera for the duration of class during the days and times of the week listed on the course schedule. Testing will be held virtually through the Distance Education departmentOnline courses eliminate geography as a factor.  A webcam or a Chromebook with a working camera will be needed as well as strong reliable internet connection for online testing.  This section includes a fee to cover the costs of required digital materials and/or an electronic textbook, provided at a discounted rate from the ACC Bookstore. IMPORTANT! The digital materials fee will be added to your tuition and fees when you register.
