ACC's 2021 Initiatives: Enterprise Resource Planning

Austin Community College District (ACC) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) aims to transform its technology for greater efficiency and functionality by replacing Colleague, a 20-year-old legacy system, with Workday. Workday is a human capital management (HCM), payroll, and financial management solution, delivered in the cloud and designed with the needs of higher education in mind.

Workday HCM will enable optimization of operating efficiencies by improving the user experience, automating processes, and providing coherent, consistent, and relevant data to support the short- and long-term goals of the College.

TIMELINE
The College is in the preliminary stages of implementing Workday HCM; the anticipated go-live date is September 1, 2021. A subsequent implementation will include Workday Student and aligns with the Chancellor's priority of modernizing ACC's Technology Resources to enhance the student experience and ensure employees have adequate resources to do their jobs effectively.

All employees, potential employees, retirees, and suppliers will experience Workday HCM fall 2021. Students can look forward to engaging with the College through modernized technology in the subsequent implementation phase.
