Registered Sex Offenders

NOTE: Released or Paroled Sex Offenders are required by federal and Texas law to register with both their local law enforcement agency and, if they attend college, the Police or Security Department of that Institution of Higher Learning within 7 days of registering for classes.
(Texas Code of Criminal Procedure 62.03, 04, .61, and TDCJ Parole Div PD/POP - 3.6.4, 12(4)(B)(3), and federal law PL 106-386, div B, Sec1601. (Aimee's Law).

The Austin Community College Police Department receives notification of registered sex offenders who currently work, volunteer or are enrolled in classes on any ACC campus or center.
